2003-07-21 : Spent too much $$$
Oh yea...I spent too much $$ this weekend on books and music (well, ok only $15 on books..bought "Becoming Madame Mao" which I've been meaning to read for awhile and also "Our Lady of the Lost and Found" (I THINK that is the title)...they were used copies. But of course, when I took L in Sonic Boom (more so he could look around) I ended up spending $40.00> Got something by the Dirt Bombs (haven't opened it yet)...a Pretty Things Record, A Thee Headcoats thingie that I used to own but lost and something else...Oh yea, The Muffs "Blonder and Blonder" for nostalgia sake. We also found a copy of The Cure's "Pornography" on Cd (it's hard to find copies of that, period) and I made Larry buy that. We both agree that it has always been our fave Cure album. I haven't been in the mood to listen to it, though. It is rather bleak and I'm just not so Goth anymore..ha ha.
