2007-11-26 : Soup and Saltines
I haven't had the stomach flu for ages. I don't even remember the last time I had it. I flew back from Illinois on Saturday. Larry picked me up at the airport and we went to Max's. I had a glass of wine. We then went and ate at Toshi's Ramen. We had gyoza and teriyaki chicken. Then we went to Sam Bond's to see what was going on and then left. We went home and eventually went to sleep. At 1 am Sunday morning I woke up suddenly and had to throw up. Then I woke up an hour later and had to throw up again. It was DISGUSTING.

Yesterday I slept most of the day and Larry made me Lipton's cuppa soup (chicken noodle) and I drank gatorade, 7-up and ate Saltines and vanilla pudding. My fever was 101 degrees Fahrenheit, despite taking a fever reducer. My body aches but my stomach is ok for now. I still feel like sleeping. I think I'll lie back down in a little while.

In the mean time I am reading "We Got the Neutron Bomb" (Oral History of the early LA punk rock scene) and I think I will do some knitting. I may also start doing my Christmas cards if I feel up to it.

I had a great time in Illinois....not up to writing about it right now, though.
