Someone just mailed me some great ideas to irritate those pesky tele-marketers and to get back at the senders of junk mail. When any telemarketer calls you, just state "Hold On, Please" as if you have to use the bathroom or speak to your spouse and then just leave the phone sitting there and don't return to it. THey'll hang up and they'll probably take you off the list! Also, for all those "you've been pre-approved" credit card offers or for ANY offer/junk mail, they ALWAYS send a postage paid return envelope...return it to them w/nothing inside. Or better yet, compile all your unwanted offers, junk mail and send it back to them in the return envelope (pizza coupons too!)
