2005-01-05 : Life Lessons from 2004
I borrowed this survey from Delighted:

1. What did you do in 2004 that you'd never done before?

volunteered, wrote a novella, called a suicide hot-line (not necessarily in that order)

2. Did you keep your new years resolutions, and will you make more for next year?

I didn't make official resolutions, so therefore, I have none to keep. I do plan on trying to exercise more and eat a more healthy diet, but I ALWAYS say I'm going to do these things.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?

my friend Gigi gave birth to her 2nd child.

4. Did anyone close to you die?

No, thank goodness!

5. What countries did you visit?

Nothing other than the US (which is where I live)

6. What would you like to have in 2005 that you lacked in 2004?

more friends, a better outlook on life and a semi-decent job.

7. What dates from 2004 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?

Dec. 26, 2004...the horrible tsunami. June 1, 2004...My one-year anniversary with Larry.

8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?

Writing a novella.

9. What was your biggest failure?

Failing to secure permanent, satisfying employment.

10. Did you suffer illness or injury?

mental illness, yes. It was pretty bad for about 1 month (hence the suicide hot-line) and I also developed summertime allergies that led to mild asthma.

Larry. He's been so supportive (financially and emotionally)

The RED states. Bush.

14. Where did most of your money go?

15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?

I got pretty excited about volunteering for Womenspace, about having my mom come to visit for Christmas, and about finishing my novella.
