Anyways, it was held at the Eugene Hilton and was a pretty swanky affair. So, guess who happened to ALSO be at the Hilton that night (staying as hotel guests)? PIERCE BROSNAN and LIAM NEESON...No shit! Someone told us they were in the hotel bar and we were like "yea, you are full of shit" but we went to check it out and sure enough, they were in there!
I stood fairly close to Liam Neeson (Boy! He is even taller than I realized and still very handsome). I tried to ignore him but of course I kept staring now and again (he was standing up talking to somebody)...Larry is SO LUCKY, though. He happened to go up to the bar to get a drink and Pierce Brosnan was standing right next to him, ordering a drink for
himself and Liam, so Larry, being the upstanding gentlemen he is, paid for Pierce and Liam's drinks..Pierce turned around to thank Larry and shook his hand and they had a brief conversation. Pierce was very nice, according to Larry.
Turns out they are doing some filming right around here (at this place called Mckenzie Bridge which is about 40 miles south of here) because there are a lot of great water and waterfall shots. The movie is called "Seraphim Falls" and is supposedly a historic drama that takes place at the end of the Civil War.
So, I've finally seen celebrities for the first time in my life! Have you ever been in close proximity to or met any famous people??
