I like pie. Rhubarb pie, cherry pie, pumpkin pie. Cold in the morning, with a glass of milk (and no ice cream with pie, please!) I remember when my stepgrandmother was still alive, she escaped from the nursing home she was in, and they found her down the street at this pie store. She obviously just really wanted a good piece of pie. She had walked down there fully clothed with her nightgown strung over her arm. Kind of sweet and sad!! I've always told my mother she should open a pie restaurant/store. She should! Her crust is simply the flakiest, crumbling on the plate, melt in your mouth delicacy, period! Yum!
